1. Do I need to buy insurance during the charter?
A refundable security deposit has to be paid prior to embarkation, which varies according to the size of the yacht. Every yacht is comprehensively insured including third Party cover, beyond a deductible excess figure. In case of damage to the yacht or loss of equipment, the estimated value for repairs and replacement is withheld from your security deposit and the balance is returned to you.
2. Will my privacy be respected while on board?
Yes ,of course!
3. Can we smoke on board?
Yes, but for safety reasons it is better to do so at the exterior area.
4. Will I experience seasickness?
It depends on you, it is better to be prepared.
5. Do I need to carry my passport?
Always or at least your ID card.
6. Can I bring children on board?
Of course!
7. What should I pack?
Whatever you need for everyday use.
8. Can I map out our own itinerary?
Yes, but we can also advise routes if you wish.

10. How and when should I pay?
The 50% three - four days after the confirmation of the charter and the other 50% one month before embarkation date.
11. What qualifications do I need to charter a bareboat sailing/motor yacht?
The Captain must have the following documents
a) Boat license to sail over 12 miles (day-night navigation)
b) identity card
c) a statement that the boat license and statuary' recognized by the state and is responsible for managing the boat on his/her own (all documents in photocopies)
The assistant captain ( co skipper), even if does not have a boating license, must be necessary to present
a) the identity card,
b) a statutory declaration that is able to assist his/her captain during navigation and manoeuvring the boat (all documents in photocopies).
12. What about skippered charters?
In this case someone of the crew must be the assistant captain ( co skipper), who,
even if does not have a boating license, must necessarily present
a) the identity card,
b) a statutory declaration that is able to assist his/her captain during navigation
and manoeuvring the boat (all documents in photocopies).
13. What if I wish to embark and disembark from different bases?
Then in your request you have to clarify this and we will send you an offer including the transfer cost back to Corfu.
14. What does the charter fee include?
Outboard, dinghy, bed linen, towels, V.A.T.
15. What is not included in the charter fee?
Fuel consumption , Water, Provisions and drinks, Port fees, end cleaning, skipper’s fee, hostess’ fee.
16. Are the yachts insured?
All our boats are fully insured,included :
• Third party and passenger civil liability minimum 500.000 Euro any one accident.
• Damage liability third party and passenger's yacht 150.000 Euro any one accident.
• Sea pollution liability 150.000 Euro.
17. Should I have a travel insurance?
It’s good to have one but it’s not necessary.
18. What if we arrive at the embarkation base late?
You can inform us and we will be there for you.
19. If I want to cancel my charter?
We calculate cancellation fees based on the period of time between the date of cancellation
and the departure date as follows:
a) Bookings cancelled between 90-60 days before embarkation, 30% of the total charter amount
will be kept.
b) Bookings cancelled between 60-30 days before embarkation, 50% of the total charter amount
will be kept.
c) Bookings cancelled less than 30 days before embarkation, 100% of the total charter amount
will be kept.
We will return the cancellation fee, less the administration fee (3%), if the boat is re-chartered
for the same period under the same conditions.
20. What kind of additional services do you offer?
Internet on the go (USB), skipper, hostess, provision, transfer from/to airport, blister - all the above upon request and availability with extra charge.
